Damian Keogh
Director
Damian is the CEO of The HOYTS Group, a position he has held since 2014. HOYTS operates 60 cinemas in Australia and New Zealand. The Group also includes Val Morgan media which sells cinema, outdoor and digital advertising in Australia, New Zealand and nine territories in the Middle East.
Damian has overseen a dramatic re-investment program in the HOYTS cinema circuit. More than 80% of the circuit has been upgraded to powered recliner seats in every cinema. He has also overseen the rebranding and redesign of their premium cinema offering to LUX and the introduction of the Treat City front of house concept.
Damian currently serves on the Cinema Association of Australia Board.
A former professional sportsman, he enjoyed a distinguished basketballer career in the NBL and represented Australia on over 200 occasions in basketball including three Olympic campaigns.
Peter Allen
Director
Peter is the former Executive Director and CEO of Scentre Group and prior to this held leadership positions at Westfield and Citibank in Australia, UK, Europe and the US. Peter is currently a director of Built Group Holdings Pty Ltd and the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute. He is a former chair of the Shopping Centre Council of Australia and former board member of the Property Council of Australia and the Essendon Football Club.
Jude Troy
Director and Joint CEO
Jude is a Director and Joint CEO of Wooden Horse, co-founding the company in 2019 after a successful seventeen-year career at global entertainment group Entertainment One (eOne) and iconic Australian film company Hopscotch Films, where she was a partner. Working in acquisitions across film and television while at Hopscotch/eOne, she built a catalogue of titles that included the Oscar-winning documentary Amy, and TV series’ Peaky Blinders, Catastrophe, The Inbetweeners and The Slap.
Jude produced award-winning drama series The Clearing for Disney+ globally, starring Teresa Palmer, Miranda Otto and Guy Pearce, the reimagining of classic Australian comedy Mother and Son for the ABC starring comedians Matt Okine and Denise Scott, and co-produced two seasons of The Other Guy, a comedy for Stan and Hulu, in partnership with Aquarius Films.
As Executive Producer, Jude has served on two seasons of the ABC/CBC factual series Stuff the British Stole and feature documentaries The Cape for Stan and Rose Gold for the ABC and Madman Entertainment. Prior to founding Wooden Horse, Jude executive produced the AACTA Award-winning feature documentary All This Mayhem.
Richard Finlayson
Director and Joint CEO
Richard is a Director and Joint CEO of Wooden Horse, co-founding the company in 2019 after a 25-year career in television, spanning both production and executive roles. Richard was the Director of Television at the ABC between 2012 and 2017, where he commissioned acclaimed dramas and comedies such Glitch (NBC, Netflix co-production), Nowhere Boys (International Emmy winner from Matchbox/NBC), Cleverman (Goalpost Pictures and Sundance/AMC), Rosehaven (Guesswork Television) and Utopia (Working Dog). Prior to the ABC, Richard was the Chief Operating Officer at public broadcaster SBS.
Richard produced feature documentaries The Cape for Stan, directed by Emmy Award-nominated filmmakers Michael Ware and Justine A. Rosenthal (Only the Dead), and Rose Gold for the ABC and Madman Entertainment, Director Matthew Adekponya’s feature debut about the Australian Men's Basketball team and what it took to build a team culture capable of winning a history-making Olympic medal. Richard also co-produced Benjamin Law’s two-part documentary series Waltzing the Dragon for the ABC, in partnership with WildBear Entertainment.
As Executive Producer, Richard served on award-winning drama series The Clearing for Disney+ globally, and the reimagining of Mother and Son for the ABC. Richard also worked with Marc Fennell to develop factual series Stuff the British Stole for ABC and CBC in Canada, partnering with WildBear Entertainment as Executive Producer.
